Beginning October 1, 2008, patients visiting our Mt Holly office will be seen by Dr. Melony Covington. Dr. Covington is currently a member of our Lincolnton team, and will be assuming Dr. James Bower's Mt Holly practice.
Dr. Covington earned her M.D. at the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed her internship, residency and fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Specializing in Adult Cardiology, Dr. Covington has particular expertise in general cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear stress testing.
Dr. Bower will move to Sanger's South Charlotte office, and has been working closely with Dr. Covington to assure a smooth transition for all patients. There is no need to call to transfer patient records; all patients will automatically be seen by Dr. Covington on their next appointment. NOTE: if a patient wishes to continue to see Dr. Bower, please make an appointment directly with our South Charlotte office at 704-543-0546.
