Sanger Clinic is proud to introduce Dr. William Downey as the newest member of our adult cardiology team. A Durham native, Dr. Downey trained at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. For the last five years, Dr. Downey served as Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Dr. Downey's clinical interests include both interventional cardiology and the medical and interventional management of peripheral arterial disease. He is deeply involved in clinical research, using clinical trials to bring the latest in interventional technology to Sanger patients.
